Perfect air rifle IR illuminator I don’t often write reviews but I felt compelled to write a review for this product because I was firstly very impressed with it and secondly I could find very little information on this torch when I was trying to decide which one to buy, so hope this helps. The torch I purchased from Blackwood Outdoors is the 850nm and I am using on my HIKMICRO 4K Lite scope. The torch is a very nice design and great build quality, it is very small and light but very powerful for its size. The small size and weight makes it perfect for air rifle use and if mounted forward it does not cover the controls on the top of the HIKMICRO 4K Lite. It produces a very clear and clean image in the scope and the beam goes wide enough to give full coverage at low magnification. It gives a very good focused beam for longer range use. I have only tested it to 40 metres at the moment, I don’t tend to shoot much beyond that ( I only shoot sub 12 air rifles) but it has amazing power and I am sure that it will go much further. Nice easy push/pull zoom, the angle of the beam is not adjustable ( I think PARD must have ditched this feature). 3 power levels, changed by a light press on the on/off button. The power level is indicated by the number of flashes on the low level/covert LED indicator light. Highly recommended for light weight air rifle set ups and will pair very well with the latest generation of air rifle Day Night scopes from HIKMICRO and PARD.
